Community Input – 826 N Winchester City Planning Meeting – 12/16 6pm

Hey Cory Neighbors, we received a notice from the City of San Jose Planning Department about the 826 N Winchester project. They will be hosting a public meeting to receive community input, describe the project, and share how the process works.

This meeting will be on December 16th at 6pm.

This is a notice for a Community, General Plan Amendment, and Environmental Impact Report Scoping Meeting for the 826 North Winchester project (File Nos. GP23-011, C24-062, H24-052, ER24-147) on Zoom on December 16 at 6:00 pm. The Zoom link will be https://sanjoseca.zoom.us/j/97603317122, and the City’s meeting landing page (including postcard and agenda) is at https://www.sanjoseca.gov/Home/Components/Calendar/Event/7264/5235. If needed, you can call into the meeting at 408-638-0968 or 888-475-4499 and enter the Meeting ID, 976 0331 7122.

This date is being driven by requirements to hold a meeting during the circulation of the Notice of Preparation, which is expected to start next week. Public comment will be accepted for at least 30 days after posting, but the City is considering an additional week or so to submit comment due to the holidays.

Winchester Development Community Discussion – January 24 at 6pm

On January 24 at 6pm there will be a public outreach meeting put on by VCI Companies to inform the surrounding community about the development that is being designed at 826 N Winchester. The meeting will take place in the community center of the Agrihood at 76 N Winchester Blvd.

All are welcome and you can talk with the developers. See what ideas they have for that area. Light food and drinks provided.

This is a separate meeting put on by the developer, not the Cory Neighborhood Association.
